American Terrorists

America is at war. Anyone who denies this is ignorant of reality. This has been clear as day since the horrible events of September 11, 2001. We have gone after Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein's regime. We are winning. In Afganistan we won quickly and decisively. Iraq has been more difficult. What changed? Our troops lost the support of the home front. We've forgotten about 9/11 and somewhere along the line the liberal side of America sided with the terrorists. They have decided that America is in the wrong and the terrorists are right. They are just as anti-American as the terrorists. They do not fight with guns, suicide bombings, or beheadings; they fight with words. They criticize America, whine and complain, over exagerate the problems, politicize everything they can, wallow in self-pity, distort the truth, and equivocate the evils war. Ultimately, their words and actions result in the death of more American men and women overseas, and likely in America as well. These people are unpatriotic and irresponsible at best, and terrorists at worst. This is a list of people whose words or actions are anti-American and threaten American lives. If you find someone to add to this list, please send the appropriate information to rogeroverton@hotmail.com.

Ted Kennedy, Senator for Massachusetts

What he said: "On March 19, 2004 President Bush asked 'Who would prefer that Saddam's torture chambers still be open?' Shamefully we now learn that Saddam's torture chambers reopened under new management, U.S. management."
CBS, 60 Minutes Newsmagazine

What they did: Aired the photos of prisoner abuse and has announced that they will air a video of soldiers talking about their dislike for Iraqi prisoners. The abuse photos were cited as the reason why Al Qaeda beheaded Nick Berg of PA. Fox News story.
Carl Levin, Senator for Michigan

What he said: "This is much more systemic than just a few guards abusing prisoners. This was part of an effort--a systemic effort." "This is not just a few guards in some kind of aberrant conduct. This is a much more systemic problem here. And military intelligence, including I believe the CIA have got to be held accountable, right up the chain."
