Terrorism: How to Lose the War

If anyone doubted that this is a war, today should proove them wrong. The beheading of an American citizen (not even a soldier) is an act of war against the U.S., just as the flying of airliners into American buildings was. There are two reactions that someone could have...
1) Ted Kennedy. His comments yesterday regarding the prisoner abuse in Iraq, "On March 19, 2004 President Bush asked 'Who would prefer that Saddam's torture chambers still be open?' Shamefully we now learn that Saddam's torture chambers reopened under new management, U.S. management." The liberal reaction is to criticize ourselves, to whine and complain, to over exagerate the problems, to politicize every last detail, to wallow in self-pity, to distort the truth, to equivocate evils, and to further endanger the lives of American men and women not only in Iraq, but around the world, especially in America. Al Qaeda should be paying Ted Kennedy. Bad ideas and statements from a MA Senator can be just as evil as the actions of a religious terrorist. To call Ted Kennedy unpatriotic is an understatement. To say such things during WWII would have been likened to treason, and we must call it no differently now. This is the Democratic party, Kennedy being one of it's most prominent leaders, and largest influence on John Kerry. The liberal position is just as anti-American as Al Qaeda.
2) The other reaction is do something about it. Instead of sitting around and waiting for terrorists to slaughter Americans, go after the b@st@rds and get rid of them. This response is reflected in Bush's new party line, "Stay the course." Since September 11, 2001, we've been going after the evil terrorists in the world and taking care of business. The conservative, patriotic response is to insure the safety of American lives by hunting down Al Qaeda, other groups who have threatened U.S. citizens, and those who support and harbour them. After 9/11, Bush said that the nations of the world had to make a decision, they are either for freedom or against it. If they are against it, and seek to harm those who have it, prepare for a fight.

The liberal reaction will cost not only the lives of Americans in Iraq, but will also bring more bloodshed onto American land. The conservative reaction will defend America and her values. If we side with the liberals, we will lose the war. To win the war Bush must win. We must stay the course.

By the way, people have been complaining about Iraq not having any ties with Al Qaeda and therefore we have no business there. Here is your evidence. The beheading video released today was comepletely Al Qaeda, done of an American contractor in Iraq.
